Black Friday

Wal-mart worker trampled to death.

Read the above article and blog your reactions.

I am absolutely appalled by the actions of these people. It's absurd the length some people will go to save a few bucks on materialistic, frivolous, and pointless consumer goods. In certain third world countries around the world, people are often found waiting in lines and fighting over a limited number of bags of rice or wheat from the UN. These people are starving and it's at least understandable how desperate they are.

Here in the US, they're lining up and trampling people to save 10 bucks on an Xbox 360. It's ridiculous and sad all at the same time.

What kills me even more, is that if these people had any clue whatsoever they would know that all they needed was a computer and the internet and they could easily get the same deals on Black Friday as they were getting in the stores themeselves. It's called online shopping, and there are never lines and you don't have to commit murder in order to buy something. Come on, think a little.
